Back To Work Tomorrow, Boo, Hiss, Boo !

I'm back at work tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it much.  Redundancies are looming and I've a feeling that I we won't have to wait too long before we're given the bad news.

I've had a great week off, got lots done and entered lots of challenges which I'm going to try to keep up if I can, they're such fun and I enjoy making for them.

I'm entering this easel card into a couple more challenges.
The Crazy 4 Challenges - Birthday ; and the ABC Challenge - E is Easel.

The image is still one of my favourites . . . Sweet Tilda (isn't she adorable?).

She is coloured with Copic Ciao markers:

Skin: E000; E00; E02 and R20

Hair: YR20; YR23 and YR31

Dress: G000; G00; BG23; RV000; RV02 and RV10

Socks: C1

Shoes: RV000; RV02; RV10; C1 and C5

Shadowline: C1

The paper comes from two different paper pads:

Kars "Country Rose" and Papermania's "Summer Bloom".

The paper punched "ribbon" is made using a Martha Stewart deep edged punch called "Flower Bed"   It's finished with Mrs. Grossman's paper "Vintage Lace" stickers.

The decoupaged roses are from my stash, I made them up literally years ago but couldn't find a suitable project to use them on but I think I have now, lol !  I love the look.

I've added clear diamante flatbacked gems to the roses, the corners of the card and the ends of the sentiments.

The sentiments are 'Message Tags' from DoCrafts "Daisy and Dandelion" range.  I love these, so easy to use, they're ready to go and I love the font the manufacturer uses.

I've finished of the inside with a matted up piece of the same paper used on the front of the card.

When I have more time I will try the idea Bev Rochester uses on her easel cards, where she has a tag envelope and tag in this space.

I'm working on a template for one at the moment and I'll let you see how I get on with this in a later post.

Well, I've rambled on long enough.

Thanks for reading,

OMG this is beautiful Julie. This Tilda is my very favourite and I love how you've coloured her. Thanks for joining us at ABC.

Hi Julie this is a gorgeous easel card. Fab papers and colours and your roses look great - didn't realise they were decoupage when I first looked. Sarahxx
