Creative Inspirations Challenge # 81 - Birthday Theme

Morning, it's nice and sunny here today, I think I have chosen quite a good week to be on leave for a change, normally when I have a break from work, the weather takes a nose dive, lol.

My card today was going to be entered into the Magnolia Down Under Challenge and although I used the right colours I forgot to use Kraft card (silly me !!!) but as it happens it fits another challenge the Creative Inspirations Challenge whose theme this week is Birthday.  If I have time I'll make another card for the Magnolia challenge.

The image is Tilda with Basket of Flowers.  She is coloured using the following Copic markers:

Skin: E000; E00; E02 and R20
Hair: E31; E33 and E35
Dress: BG01; BG05; YG91; YG63 and Y13
Boots: E71 and E77
Basket: E53; E43 and E71
Flowers: Y17 and YG23

I've used a white gel ink pen to add the dot design to Tilda's dress.  Papermania make the best one that I have used so far, the ink is called "Snow White".  I bought mine from The Range.
The designer background paper is from DCWV "Retro Prints" paper stack.  I just know I'm going to be using this stack for a long time, some of the papers are just stunning.

Tilda's flowers have been glittered using Stickles Star Dust.

The die cut hearts have been outline using a simple, fine silver peel off to give them a little more definition.

The corners of the card have been embellished using three sizes of yellow gemstone from Papermania.

The stitched button flowers are from Tesco (surprisingly !)

My husband is really not impressed that I can now pick up crafting supplies whilst doing our weekly shop, lol.

Well, I have a few more cards to make for various other challenges ( I really have caught the bug, lol) so I will stop here.

Thanks for reading,

Thanks for the lovely comment Shell. I'll readily shoulder the blame ... for a 5% share of Tesco's profits, ha ha.
