Lili of the Valley and CharismaCardz Challenge

My word I'm doing well for entering challenges . . . but it's only 'cos I'm on annual leave from work and have the spare time, lol !

The Lili of the Valley Challenge #67 is a sketch challenge set by Bev Rochester of All the things I love (who by the way has a fantastic blog candy offer at the moment, click on the link and enter, just don't win it, I want to win, lol).

Luckily I've just bought some of the new Lili of the Valley Christmas stamps and they're all yummy!!  I just know that these are going to be perennial favourites.

Lucky too that this card fits the bill for the Charisma Cardz Challenge "Christmas Crafting" so I'll be entering that too.

I have coloured the image which I think is called "Baby's First Christmas" with Copic Ciao markers:

Skin: E000; E00; and R20

Hat: R17; R29; B00 and C1

Babygro': BG10, BG34 and C1 (spots coloured with Copic Spica Red)

Reindeer Toy: E31; E33; E71; E77; R17; R20 and R29

I've glittered all the fur elements of the baby's clothing with Stickles "Crystal" glitter glue.

The designer background paper is from Docrafts Papermania;  it's "Classic Christmas" by Stephanie Dyment.  These papers are just to die for and the pack even contains some ready made toppers.

I've matted them onto red mirror board to complement the foiled red dots in the background paper.

The aqua "Gemstones" cardstock has been put through a snowflake embossing folder.  I will definitely be doing this again . . . I love the effect it gave.

The lace is from my local market and was only 20p per metre, how's that for a bargain???

The snowflakes are die cut from red mirror board with a Marianne D Creatables die, I think it's snowflake #1 but I'm not 100% sure.

The centres of the snowflakes have been embellished with metal brads from Hot off the Press and faux pearls have been used to decorate the tips.

No flowers this time . . . no room . . . but it did feel strange not reaching for my box of blooms, lol.

Must get on I have another 5 challenges lined up that I want to enter !!!

Thanks for reading,
