Busy Little Bee

I've been really busy for most of this weekend making commission cards and I must say some have been easier and more enjoyable than others, lol.  I have met all my deadlines though I'm very glad to say.

I have managed to make a challenge card though as well . . . if I'm honest it was one I started to be entered into the Sketchy Colors challenge but time ran away from me and I missed that one, lol

Isn't she just adorable??  She is one of the newest Christmas images from Magnolia.

I've sat her up on a Christmas envelope which was a release last Christmas I think!!

The paper is from the Papermania Signature Linen "A Christmas Carol" collection and I just love them.

The gold card is frosted gold from Rowney Daler.

I've used Papermania "Transparent" adhesive stones for accents.

The looped "ribbon" was made using a Martha Stewart punch.

She is coloured using Copic markers as usual.

The colours I used are as follows:

Envelope: YR20; E11; R05; E08; G21 and YG91

Skin: E000; E00; E02 and R20

Hair: E31; E43 and E47

Romper: G21; YG91 and C1

Socks: C1

Bauble: R05; E08; R02; YR20; E11 and Y11

I'm entering the following challenges with this one:

Crazy4Challenges # 62 - "Create a Square Card" - easy one for me I don't do anything but square, lol

Just Magnolia # 80 - "Anything Goes" (but I didn't use the optional beads!)

StampARTic November Challenge - "Christmas with glitter"  I know it is subtle but there is glitter on the envelope, bauble and parts of Tilda's romper (atyou spica pens)

Top Tip Tuesday # 8 - "Christmas Inspired"

Well I think there's enough there to be getting on with.  I hope you all had a really nice weekend and managed to get some crafting in.

Next week I start in earnest on my Christmas card commission, all that red, green and gold, I love it, lol !!!

Thanks for reading,

A beautiful card it is Julie! So well the stamps fit together.
The glitter is ok. But.. we have a little rule in StampARTic that we want the cards to be for our challenge only. So sorry!!!
Hope you join us again but of course only to our challenge then. :)
Wish you a nice day.
Best regards SasSa
