New Challenge at Ready Teddy Go

First of the month again and a new month long challenge over at Ready Teddy Go

This month sees the theme of "It's a Wrap" . . . nothing to do with Hollywood darling but inspired by your favourite product's colour scheme

Here's my contribution to the Design Team work

This card was made in the form of a book because it was for a Christening and 1st birthday combined celebration.
The sweet bear image is by Eline Pellinkhof.  I purchased it at Cuddly Buddly and I printed it out several times to make my own decoupaged image.  I love doing this, I get a real thrill out of it.

It was set against a ClipArt Fairy shaper which I heavily glittered with Stickles and this was set in turn against a PATP shape made with a punch from Martha Stewart . . . still one of my favourite products.

Again a ClipArt Fairy baby sentiment was set against a shaper heavily glittered with Stickles glitter glue.

The sentiment was found on the Internet and printed out and set against another shaper which was glittered [all the glittering was done during my lunch hours at work over several days, labour intensive but very therapeutic, lol] .
A small polka dot ribbon bow was used to embellish, I felt that with the all the bling glittering not much more was necessary.

Inside and the pages which relate to the 1st Birthday celebration.

The same basic layout and theme was kept but some Nitwits Collection paper was used to cut out a number 1

Another Eline Pellinkhof image, this time of a baby girl and decoupaged up to create some more dimension.  I love this woman's work she incredibly talented and her images are always very cute.
Another small pink polka dot ribbon bow was used to embellish.
The little girls name was made using my PC, printer and Nitwits Collection journalling tag.

The book closure was made using a pink and silver lurex ribbon.

My inspiration for the colour scheme was . . . my favourite perfume [plus the card was for a little girl, so what else but pink of course, lol !  My favourite colour]

Apologies for the quality of the pictures, I really couldn't make a living as a photographer, lol.

Why not have a go at the challenge at Ready Teddy Go, you have a  whole month to join in.

Warmest wishes
