Summertime . . .

Morning Crafters,

Summertime has arrived in my little corner of the world . . . I don't know how long it will be here but while it is I'm smiling.

Today I'd like to show you a summertime card made a while ago but forgotten . . . oh how could I?  If you could see my crafting area, you would have the answer, lol.

Made using a 6"x6" white scalloped edge card blank.  The DPs are from a Fizzy Moon stack I think, but to be honest this is so old I may be wrong!!!

The decorative edge was made using a MS deep edge punch called Garden Trellis

The flowers are all from WOC, oh except the little pink feather ones, they were from my local market.  The foliage was punched from green Co-ordinations cardstock with a Nellie Snellen punch.

The image is from Whimsy And Stars Studio on Etsy, super cute.
She is coloured with Copic markers and heavily glittered with Stickles Stardust.

By the looks of things I matted her onto an embossed oval background and Spellbinders Label Ten die cut shape.
The butterflies are something which I've had in my stash for the longest time . . . I bought them from Dunelm Mill I think.
I coiled some of the wire stems cut from the WOC flowers and hot glued them onto the ends . . . which also gives them some movement [bonus, lol].

The narrow ribbon was cut from a tee-shirt believe it or not :)  . . . you know the little irritating hanger ribbons which always show when you don't want them to and you spend your entire day tucking back in place???

Waste not, want not ...  so I guess my card qualifies for my very first Use It Up project too [bonus]

Please see my sidebar for more info!

Last photo, showing the inside to match the outside

The sentiments were from a Kanban sheet.  More of the free ribbon and some Papermania pink shimmer gems.

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Thanks for visiting and I hope the sun is shining on you,
