Hi All
Just popped on to let you know that there's a new challenge at Penny's today also.

This week we would like you to . . .

We're generously sponsored this week by

. . . with a prize of 5 images of the winner's choice

and

                                           http://www.deliciousdoodles.blogspot.co.uk/
prize - 4 images of winners choice

and

I was given the choice of any image of Kathryne's from StampArt Design for this week's card.
I chose "Frosty Friends" and here's the card I made using it.

I matted a chevron black and grey DP onto both solid black and mirror silver cardstock.
Added this to a 6" x 6" white scalloped card blank.

I punched a snowflake edge into a strip of orange cardstock from the Paper Mill and wrapped both an organza and grosgrain orange ribbon around it.  I threaded on a button before I stuck it down.
The button was originally cream and didn't look right so I coloured it black using a Sharpie permanent marker pen.

I coloured Kathryne's wonderful image with Copic markers and highlighted areas with Stickles Star Dust.  Doesn't that snowman just make you smile!  And don't you just love his little snowflake friend?

I matted the image onto more orange and black cardstock.
I used a Spellbinders die to die cut a fancy oval frame for the image to sit on.

I decorated the inside with more of the chevron DP.

I really enjoyed making this card, it was a lot of fun.
Why don't you pop over to the challenge and have a look at what my teamies came up with and why not join in the fun too?

Thanks for visiting

Lovely job, Julie Ann. I'm delighted to hear you had so much fun creating with this image. Your colouring and shading is beautiful. The card is gorgeous. The chevron DP is very striking and adds a classy touch. It's a pleasure to sponsor your challenge. xx Kathryne
